The AC Infinity Controller Sensor Probe is a 6.09 m corded temperature and humidity probe with a 3.5 mm plug, for the onboard controllers built into AC Infinity's T-series fans. It is the part you want when the probe that came with your fan will not reach where the reading actually matters — or when the original one has been damaged and the fan has stopped responding to the room.
Put the reading where it matters
A fan's onboard controller is only as good as where its probe sits, and the standard lead often means the probe ends up dangling near the fan rather than out in the space. Six metres changes that: the fan can stay mounted at the ceiling or outside the tent while the probe reads at canopy height, in the middle of a crawl space, or at the far end of a duct run — which is where the number you are actually controlling to lives.
The head is type 316 SAE steel with a thermal-alloy sensing element. It responds quickly rather than lagging, so the fan reacts to the change while it is happening, and the steel does not corrode in a humid space. A water-resistant gasket gives it an IP44 rating: splashing water and dust are fine, immersion is not.
Or simply a spare
Probes get caught in tent zips, pinched behind ducting and pulled out of position often enough that a spare on the shelf is sensible. A fan running blind because its probe has failed is a bad thing to discover mid-cycle.

FAQ
Will it work with my Controller 69 Pro or AI+?
No. Those controllers use their own sensors, not a 3.5 mm probe. For a Controller AI+ the equivalent part is the AI climate sensor, which is 7.32 m and plugs into an AI sensor port. This probe is for the controller built into a T-series fan.
Which fans does it fit?
Any AC Infinity fan with a 3.5 mm probe socket on its onboard controller — Cloudline T-series inline fans, Airlift shutter fans, Airtitan crawl-space fans, Airblaze fireplace blowers and Cloudway whole-house fans. If you are not sure, look at the socket on your fan's controller: a small round jack means yes.
Can I run it inside a duct?
Yes — that is a common use and the IP44 gasket is there for it. Put the head into the airstream and keep the cable clear of the impeller.
Where should the probe sit?
At the height you care about, in open air, out of the direct blast of a fan and away from the intake. A probe sitting in moving air reads the air going past it rather than the conditions in the space.
Can I splice it longer?
We would not. Sensor accuracy over a long run depends on cable quality and shielding, and 6.09 m is already generous. If you need a reading from further away, tell us the layout and we will suggest something that will actually hold accuracy.
