These are great tents but being I bought a 4x8 only having 6inch exhaust ports is a pain in the u know where. I like to run 8inch equipment at lower speeds it makes ur equipment last longer. I've made it work but it's a huge oversight. I did outside calliper measurements on tent thickness and pinelab tents are thicker so these are not the thickest on the market. I will always purchase my gear at QBL as Soren is a great guy and too happy to help which is rare today. Thanks mate great service as always Resingrower

We grow functional mushrooms for sale at farmers' markets, as well as extracts, dehydrated products and soups/teas. Our production depends on equipment that is reliable, efficient and easy to monitor. My first ACI product was a humidifier, but more about that later.

A few months ago I bought the ACI Controller 69+ and it was (is) a reliable workhorse that is easy to program, connect and use. I bought a number of ACI adapter plugs to run non-ACI equipment and it worked perfectly. I even discovered the 69+ will work with an external power supply, but it takes up one of your ports, so best to couple it with an inline fan and not risk your warranty.

As mentioned, I previously bought two ACI humidifiers, but due to a bad batch (which has been recalled and corrected) I had to build my own humidifier to ensure I had continuity and didn't lose my harvest. When the units failed, Soran was on it straight away. He arranged a replacement from a local dealer (I'm in WA) and I collected it that day. 10/10 for customer service, attention and care!

I also have a 3x3m tents, which was too much space for those units to manage with hundreds of mushroom blocks every week. In my 150x150cm tent it works a dream, but this isn't about humidifiers...

Back to the ACI Controller AI: I am speaking to the functional mushroom crowd more than other crop growers, only because I have a lot of experience with mushrooms and when I dabbled in hydroponics years ago, it was a very different game, expensive and costly to run lights, systems etc. There was almost no automation then and rooms/garages were not as easy to setup as tents are today.

The ACI Controller AI has so many advanced manual options that I love. It is great and it is all I use at the moment. In my view learning to program a room with your controller is absolutely necessary before handing over to AI.

The Controller AI is very intuitive and follows basic common sense rules. I literally haven't removed the instructions from the box (I don't want to lose my Man Club card), but it is really easy if you follow logical steps and have an idea how you want your areas to operate.

As far as the AI goes, it isn't really configured for mushroom cultivation and I hope ACI work on that. If you're growing green leaf crops, it looks like the bulk of the work will be done for you, but us shroomers are not so lucky, well not yet...

I will try to work with ACI to develop a code model supportive of functional mushroom growing because growers like us, who sell at markets, are always looking for new ways to assist with better results given the nuances gourmet food production presents.

I'll post a few photos of the system, a small crop in-situ and some ACI accessories.

Many complain that another issue with ACI is they do not make AU in/out plugs for the adapters, which means two international plug adapters per unit - that can be expensive and obviously bulky too. I am looking at 3D printing something that might work and make less bulk for the overall unit.

The photos depict the controller and telemetry for the current state. Port 1: is the humidifier - Port 2: ACI Inline fan - Port 3: C02 and light meter Port 4: Light Cycle. The rest is self explanatory.

The white digital unit is my original C02 meter that cost almost as much as the ACI Controller AI and while it works well, it cannot connect to Wi-Fi, so I used an indoor CCTV camera to see the display, which was frustrating.

The plugs are connected to ACI adapters with the international connectors attached and then gaffer taped for spore and moisture protection. I hope the 3D print fix will improve this.

There's a pic of the growing shelves (we harvested and haven't fruited new blocks as yet). The ACI Inline fan with a washable filter for the humidifier and to provide constant positive airflow. This fan runs 24/7 on speed 3. At ground level is a cheapo 6" centrifugal extraction fan for C02 and spores, but I am just about to order a new ACI S6 to replace it.

I threw in a photo of one of our 1,000 litre fridges (we have three) to show what weekly capacity these units need to be able to manage. There's about sixty to 80 blocks per fridge, depending on the mushroom substrate we are using and up to 50 blocks per tent per week.

I hope this has helped some mushroom growers consider what will work best for them. I find the ACI range much more reliable and lasting than the other brands, but QBL are amazing to deal with and have excellent customer service.

I am a functional mushroom grower. After trying many of the cheaper brand controllers and cooling/heating monitoring devices etc. I decided to buy the AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro and some UIS control plugs to connect my non-ACI humidifier and two external air conditioning units.

It was the most rewarding purchase I have ever made! However, despite searching high and low, I could not find out two pieces of information.

1. Will the controller work with non-AC Infinity products?

The answer is YES, but there are some limitations.

Your intended appliance (aircon in my case) must be one that when power is cut by the controller and then resupplied, your unit will automatically turn back on and maintain its settings. This is very important to be 100% sure of before buying either product.

So if you buy a Controller 69 Pro and the UIS Control Plugs, the USB-C connection from the Control Plug will power the Controller 69 Pro, as long as it is connected to a power supply (plugged into the wall).

In Australia you will need two US adapters for each UIS Controller Plug to make it work. (Note to ACI: please make AU plugs ASAP!)

2. Can the Controller 69 Pro be powered by a power pack connected via USB-C?

As I did not have time to experiment (I had blocks fruiting and just needed the tent functioning properly during a heatwave) I have no definitive answer.

What I have read is you can, but you lose one of your ports and really given you will be running control points, why give up that slot? In my case purchasing an air exchange fan was inevitable and the ACI unit I got is FANtastic!!!

After two weeks of operation I can honestly say this is the best controller I have ever used and I would never go back to the something-bird or the Otherthing-sun products (which I ran along side for a week and proved their inaccuracy was too much to gamble with fir gourmet mushroom cultivation). While I have kept them as emergency backup units, I would never trust anything but ACI to run my environment again.

As far as QBL are concerned 10/10 from me.

This unit is magic. It helps regulate the temperature and humidity in our greenhouse. Looks good, quiet and wasn't too hard to setup either. Very happy with this product and would gladly recommend it to others.

These fans are brilliant. Quiet and silky smooth. I can’t believe how quiet they are. I’m actually running them on low or medium speed because they are that good.

I used these fans to built a Biltong (meat) drying box. It’s worked perfectly! My biltong box is now pumping out dried meat efficiently. Great speedy service as well.

Very impressed with delivery time as i had 2 week old Roma tomato seedlings to pot. Took about 2 days for the self wicking to do its thing. Far out at 5 weeks of growth its blown me away at how healthy they are growing, nothing to do , except ph/ nutrient dosing in the bottom of pots so easy. Awesome product. I use this in a highland nepenthes tent on my heat extraction fan. I have the fan at 50% power as I don't want to change the temp to quick and the shutters still open. Allowing the heat not to escape when the fan is not on.

Simply an amazing piece of kit. I tuned it for my needs to keep my server cabinet cool and its working brilliantly. The cabinet is in my main office so having it cool and quiet was very important to me and this thing knocks it out of the park.

Setting a temperature target is good but being able to set buffer and min/max speeds is amazing. On top of that I have it connected to Home Assistant (via HACS) and it work very well, can control the controller as well as individual output controls.

Super impressed & highly recommended.

Ac infinity have finally bought out a controller that you can fine tune and can control remotely. The options available for splitting, daisy chain and running other brand appliances are excellent! Highly recommend this and anything from AC Infinity - excellent quality

I love the T3! It is fantastic - I really feel like I’m on top of my VPD and it definitely shows. I also really like the included extension hose and humidity probe so I can adjust easily as my canopy level rises. Highly recommend this product and QBL were great with fast postage. I will definitely be getting the T7 for my larger tent when the budget allows :)

These things rock but players still say they don't get enough water. Try this as per pics. Remove extra wicks late in flower when the plant stops drinking so much.

Athena balance works super well at buffering and raising the ph. No need for foliar apps of silicone either as this stuff is derived from potassium silicate.

Super clean dry salt line. Very easy to use just follow the instructions. You really do get amazing results from this product/ nutrient line. It’s a really economical way to buy nutrients.

This is very good quality ducting, best I have seen in this style of ducting, Unfortunately not suitable for my need due to the picture difference, in the picture it appears to be smooth between the ribs on the outside, but it does have wrinkles, I wasn't going to use it for ducting but for a robot arm material and wrinkles are not suitable but for air con or any kind of venting this ducting is high class very nice stuff. I will use it somewhere else.

These lights are amazing. I use them for my indoor orchid collection and it's literally everything I've ever wanted from a lighting setup. It's intuitive and has all the controls I need. The intensity is adjustable and suits all my needs. The multiple installation methods available is perfect for if I want to switch my setup in the future. At the moment I've got them magnetically attached to the ceiling of my metal cabinet, and they hold very firm. I got my package like 3 working days after ordering, so im a very happy customer.
