The AC Infinity Bud Bowl Trimmer gets through the bulk of a trim in a fraction of the time hand work takes. Material sits in a 406 mm (16″) stainless steel bowl, a hand crank turns food-grade silicone sweepers across the surface, and the blade underneath takes the leaf off while the material tumbles. A clear dome lets you watch it happen and stop exactly when it looks right. Two blades are included — a quadruple-edged straight blade for wet trimming and a serrated blade for dry — so the same machine handles either. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer: stocked in Sydney, shipped domestically.
Two blades, because wet and dry are different jobs
This is the detail that makes the machine worth owning rather than just fast. Wet material is soft and yields to a clean edge, so the quadruple-edged straight blade shears through it without tearing. Dry material is brittle and a straight edge tends to skate over it, which is why the serrated blade is there — the teeth catch and cut rather than push.
Both are included, both are stainless, and swapping between them is part of the normal strip-down. You are not choosing one workflow at purchase and living with it.
You can see exactly what you are doing
The clear dome is the difference between trimming and guessing. You watch the material tumble, you see the leaf coming away, and you stop when it looks how you want it — rather than running a fixed number of turns and opening the lid to find out. For anyone who cares about how much comes off, that visibility is the whole point.
Underneath, the bowl is non-stick stainless and the sweepers are food-grade silicone, so the material is being moved rather than dragged. Rubber padding on the base keeps the unit still on a bench while you crank.
Manual is a feature, not a compromise
No motor means no power lead, nothing to burn out, and no noise beyond the gearing. It also means you set the pace: slow and gentle when you want a light touch, faster when you are working through volume. A powered trimmer runs at its speed; this one runs at yours.
It is also the reason the machine goes anywhere. Bench, table, shed, back of the ute — there is nothing to plug in. The crank lifts off for storage and cleaning.

FAQ
Which size should I get, the 16″ or the 19″?
Match it to your batch size rather than buying the biggest. The 16″ here is 406 mm across and weighs 5.8 kg; the 19″ version is the other option in the range. The larger bowl gets through more per load and suits a bigger harvest or shared use; the smaller one is lighter to move, easier to store and quicker to clean. Both do the same job with the same blades and the same build.
Wet or dry — which should I be trimming?
Both work, and the machine ships with a blade for each, so it comes down to preference and what suits your process. Wet trimming straight after harvest is faster and the leaf comes away cleanly with the straight blade. Dry trimming with the serrated blade gives you more control over the final look and is gentler on the surface of the material. Plenty of people do both at different stages.
Does it replace hand trimming completely?
It does the heavy lifting, which is where the time goes. Most people run the bowl to get through the bulk of the leaf and then hand-finish the pieces they care most about — that combination gets you the result of hand trimming in a fraction of the hours. If you are finishing by hand afterwards, a trim tray alongside it keeps that stage tidy.
Is it gentle on the material?
That is what the silicone sweepers and the non-stick bowl are for — the material is moved across the blade rather than dragged over metal. The bigger factor is you: fill the bowl sensibly, crank at a steady pace rather than racing, and check through the dome. Run it that way and the finish is very good.
How do I clean it?
Lift the crank off, take the blade out and strip the unit down — it comes apart without tools. Stainless steel and food-grade silicone both wash easily, and isopropyl alcohol lifts anything that has gone tacky. Doing it at the end of the session rather than the next morning makes it a five-minute job.
Does it need power?
No. It is entirely manual, driven by the removable hand crank, so there is no lead, no motor and nothing to service. It works anywhere you can put it down.
Is this genuine AC Infinity stock with Australian warranty?
Yes. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer and distributor for AC Infinity. Stock is held in Sydney, orders ship domestically, and warranty is handled here rather than through an overseas seller.
