The AC Infinity Large Trim Tray System turns trimming from a job you endure into one you can settle into. Three 500 mm (20″) trays stack into one unit, with two interchangeable screens that swap in seconds: a 150 micron dry sift screen for collecting fine material, and an ABS 757 sorting screen for working through larger trimmings. The sifting tray is SUS 304 food-grade stainless steel, so what falls through comes back out again instead of sticking to the surface. Pruning shears and a soft-bristle brush are in the kit. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer: stocked in Sydney, shipped domestically.
Two screens, two different jobs
This is the part worth understanding before your first session, because it is what makes the kit flexible rather than just large.
The ABS 757 sorting screen has the more open mesh. Work over it while you are doing the bulk of your trimming and it separates the larger offcuts from everything finer, so you are sorting as you go rather than facing a pile afterwards. The 150 micron sifter screen is the fine one: swap it in and gentle agitation drops the smallest material through to the tray below while holding everything else back. Both screens drop into the same frame, so changing between them takes seconds and no tools.
The stainless tray is doing real work
Fine plant material is sticky, and on a plastic or coated surface a good proportion of it simply stays there — you can see it and you cannot easily lift it. The sifting tray here is SUS 304 stainless with a food-grade finish, which releases far better. A pass with the included soft-bristle brush gathers what has collected into one place, and cleanup at the end is a wipe rather than a scrape.
SUS 304 is the same grade used for commercial kitchen benches for the same reasons: it does not corrode, it does not hold odours, and it tolerates being cleaned properly and often.
Trim on your lap or on the bench
The top trim tray has raised, ergonomically shaped walls, so material stays in the tray rather than on the floor, and the edge sits comfortably against you. The two lower trays are shallower and designed to be worked on your lap or a desktop, whichever suits the session — a long trim is easier sitting down, and this is built for that rather than assuming you are standing at a bench.
Three trays also means the one you are not using becomes storage. Collected material goes straight into it and stays contained until you deal with it, instead of occupying a separate container you then have to clean as well.

FAQ
Which screen should I be using?
Start with the ABS 757 sorting screen for the main trimming work — it keeps the larger offcuts separate while you go. Switch to the 150 micron sifter when you want to collect the fine material properly, and give it gentle, patient agitation rather than vigorous shaking. Both drop into the same frame, so there is nothing stopping you moving between them mid-session.
Is 150 micron the right grade?
It is the sensible all-round choice and the reason AC Infinity picked it: open enough to let fine material through readily, fine enough to hold back the leaf fragments you do not want mixed in. Specialists working to a particular standard sometimes want a finer or coarser screen for a specific pass, but for general use 150 micron is the grade that does the job well without needing a set of screens to choose between.
Can I use just one tray?
Yes, and plenty of people do. The trays are designed to stack into one system but each works on its own — the top trim tray alone is a perfectly good lap tray for a quick session. The full stack is there for when you want sorting and sifting happening in the same workflow.
How do I clean it?
Brush the screens and the stainless tray down with the included soft-bristle brush first to recover anything collected. After that the stainless sifting tray takes a normal wash, and isopropyl alcohol on a cloth lifts any residue that has gone tacky. SUS 304 handles that easily, which is a large part of why the tray is made from it. Let everything dry fully before stacking it away.
Will it fit on a normal desk?
Comfortably. The footprint is roughly 350 × 508 mm — about the same as a large chopping board — and the full stack is a little over 100 mm deep, so it sits on a desk or a kitchen bench without dominating it. It also stores flat in a cupboard when the trays are nested.
Are the shears and brush any good, or will I replace them?
They are proper inclusions rather than a token gesture: straight stainless steel shears and a soft wool-bristle brush, both suited to the work. If you already have a favourite pair of trimming scissors you will probably keep using those, but nothing in the kit is there to be thrown away.
Is this genuine AC Infinity stock with Australian warranty?
Yes. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer and distributor for AC Infinity. Stock is held in Sydney, orders ship domestically, and warranty is handled here rather than through an overseas seller.
