There are two ways to deal with smell: cover it or capture it. This bag captures it. How much actually fits inside?
AC Infinity don't publish an internal volume, so we won't quote one. What the measurements tell you: 24 cm wide, 15 cm high and 9 cm deep means standard jars go in standing upright, with room across the width for several. If you have a specific container in mind, send us its dimensions and we'll tell you whether it fits.
Is it genuinely smell proof?
For carrying and day-to-day storage, yes — the multi-layered carbon lining holds odour at the fabric. It is a lined fabric bag rather than a vacuum-sealed container, so for long-term storage the right approach is a sealed barrier bag or jar inside it. That combination is far more effective than any single bag on its own.
Does the carbon lining wear out?
Activated carbon loads up over time, the same as the carbon in a duct filter. Air the bag open in a dry spot between uses, and keep material in a sealed bag or jar inside it — that is the single biggest thing you can do to extend the lining's working life.
Is it waterproof?
Water-resistant, not waterproof — there's a water-resistant seal on the zip and the 900D nylon sheds light rain. Don't submerge it or leave it out in a downpour.
Can I wash it?
Wipe the nylon shell with a damp cloth and let it dry completely. Don't submerge it or put it through a machine — soaking the carbon lining is what ruins it.
Can it be locked?
Yes. The AC Infinity Combination Lock, 2-Pack uses a flexible steel cable rather than a rigid shackle, which threads through a pair of zip pulls. Rigid-shackle padlocks generally will not.
