The AC Infinity IONFRAME EVO3 is a 280 W bar-style LED built for the shape most people overlook — the 2x4 ft (60 x 120 cm) tent. Its 41 x 83 cm frame is long and narrow rather than square, so it lights a rectangle properly instead of throwing light at the side walls. 840 diodes, mostly Samsung LM301H EVO white in two colour temperatures, with Seoul UV, OSRAM deep red and OSRAM far-red mixed in. Ships with the Controller 77. Genuine AC Infinity, stocked in Sydney and shipped domestically.
The shape is the reason to buy it
A 2x4 tent is a common size and a badly served one. Most lights at this wattage are square, and a square fixture in a 60 x 120 cm tent lights the middle well and leaves both ends short — or forces you to buy two smaller lights and deal with two hangers and two cords.
The EVO3's frame is 41 x 83 cm, which runs down the long axis of the tent. The light arrives spread along the whole canopy, the ends keep up with the centre, and you can hang it low because nothing is concentrated in one spot.
What is actually in the spectrum
The white base is Samsung LM301H EVO — 537 diodes at 3000K and 270 at 5000K, weighted warm for flower. AC Infinity rate the LM301H EVO at 3.14 µmol/J per diode. On top sit 3 x Seoul 395 nm UV, 27 x OSRAM 660 nm deep red and 3 x OSRAM 730 nm far-red, covering what a white-only spectrum leaves out.
Control, in the box and beyond it
The Controller 77 is included: daily schedule, sunrise and sunset ramping, ten brightness levels plus a power switch, and memory that restores settings after an outage. The light is UIS compatible, so it can join your AC Infinity controller and run on the same program as your extraction fan. Up to 80 lights can be daisy-chained — the splitter dongles this needs are sold separately, and each controller port carries up to 16 lights of the same series.
EVO3 or EVO4? Within 20 W of each other, so ignore the wattage and look at the shape. The EVO3 is 41 x 83 cm, long and narrow, for a 2x4. The EVO4 is 52 x 58 cm, squarer, for a 3x3. Buying the wrong shape is the most common mistake at this end of the range.

Questions we get asked
Will it fit a 2x4 tent properly?
Yes, that is what it is shaped for. The 83 cm length runs down the long axis of a 120 cm tent, so light is spread along the canopy rather than pooled in the middle. It is the reason to choose this over a square fixture of similar wattage.
Could I use it in a 3x3 instead?
You could, but the EVO4 is the better fit — it is squarer, and in a 90 x 90 cm tent a long narrow fixture leaves the sides short. Same money, better match.
Do I need a separate controller?
No. The Controller 77 is included and handles schedule, ramping and dimming on its own. A UIS controller is an upgrade if you want the light on the same program as your fans.
Can I run several EVO3s from one controller?
Yes, but the splitter dongles are sold separately. Each controller port handles up to 16 lights, and every light in a chain has to be from the same series.
How much extraction does it need?
Size the fan to 280 W of input power, not to the tent. A 100 mm or 150 mm inline fan with a carbon filter suits a 2x4 running this light.
Is the 3.14 µmol/J figure for the whole fixture?
No. That is AC Infinity's efficacy figure for a single Samsung LM301H EVO diode, not the assembled light with driver losses included. We quote it as they publish it.
Is this genuine stock with an Australian warranty?
Yes. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer for AC Infinity. Stock is held in Sydney and warranty is handled here.
