The GreenPlanet Professional Coco 70/30 Perlite is a ready-to-use growing medium: 70% buffered coco coir blended with 30% perlite. It's pre-washed, pH-stabilised and RHP certified, so it goes straight from the bag into the pot with no soaking or buffering. The perlite adds drainage and air, making it the mix to choose if you like to feed often and hard.
Why 70/30
Straight coco holds a lot of water. Blending in 30% perlite opens it up: roots get more oxygen, the medium drains faster, and the risk of overwatering drops. That extra air lets you run frequent, heavier feeds — which is why 70/30 is a common choice for hand-watered hydro and drip systems chasing fast growth.
No prep needed
The coco is buffered, washed and pH-stabilised before it's bagged, and it's RHP certified for water absorption, air content, pH and purity. GreenPlanet sources it from an ISO 9001-certified facility for consistency from bag to bag. Open, fill, plant.

FAQ
70/30 or straight coco?
70/30 drains faster and holds more air, so it suits frequent feeding. GreenPlanet Professional Coco holds more water between feeds. If you tend to overwater, choose 70/30.
Do I need to buffer or rinse it?
No. It's pre-washed and buffered. Just check your runoff pH and EC once you start feeding.
Which nutrients should I use with it?
Any coco-suitable base. From the GreenPlanet range, Dual Fuel with Pro Cal is the simplest pairing.
Can I reuse it?
Many growers do after a rinse and re-buffer, but a fresh bag is the most predictable start.
