The cable is what you are buying
Almost every padlock on a hardware shelf has a rigid steel shackle, and a rigid shackle is useless on the things growers actually want to lock. A grow tent closes with a pair of zip pulls that sit flat against the canvas. A bag zipper is the same. Neither has the clearance for a solid loop of steel.
A flexible cable does. It threads through both pulls, closes back into the lock body, and holds them together — which is all you need to stop a tent or a bag being opened casually. The same flexibility means one lock covers a tent door, a shed hasp, a locker, a toolbox and a suitcase instead of you buying a different lock for each.
Set your own three digits
Out of the box the combination is 0-0-0. To change it: dial in the current code, press and hold the reset button on the base of the lock, set the three digits you want, then release the button to lock it in. That is the whole process — no key, no tool, no app. The dials are high contrast, which matters more than it sounds when you are opening a tent in the dark under grow lights.
Being straight about security level: a 3-digit combination lock is a deterrent — it stops a door being opened out of curiosity, by a housemate, a kid or a visitor. It is not a high-security lock and nobody should treat it as one. That is the honest job it does, and for a tent zip or a bag zip it is the right tool for it.

Questions we get asked
Will it fit my grow tent?
Yes — the cable threads through the zip pulls on AC Infinity Cloudlab tents and every other tent we stock. That is what the cable is for. Rigid-shackle padlocks generally will not fit tent pulls at all.
How long is the cable?
AC Infinity don't publish a cable length, so we are not going to quote one. It is sized for zip pulls, hasps and locker handles rather than for looping around a post — if you need to secure something with real girth, a dedicated cable lock is the better buy.
How secure is a 3-digit lock, really?
1,000 possible combinations. It is a deterrent against casual opening — housemates, kids, visitors, a curious delivery — and that is the job it is built for. It is not a high-security lock and we won't pretend otherwise. If you are protecting high-value equipment from a determined attempt, that is a different class of hardware.
Can I set both locks to the same code?
Yes — each is reset independently, so set them both to the same three digits and you only have one number to remember. Most people do exactly that.
Can I use it outdoors?
AC Infinity publish no weather or IP rating for it, so we can't promise it. The body is zinc alloy, which handles damp better than plain steel, but for a permanently exposed outdoor position a lock actually rated for weather is the safer choice. Under cover — shed door, greenhouse, garage — is fine.
What if I forget the combination?
There is no override or master key — the reset button only works once the lock is already open. Set the code, then write it somewhere that isn't inside whatever you locked.
