The AC Infinity Cloudcom A1 is the smallest thermo-hygrometer in the range: a 4.6 cm puck with a 3.66 m corded probe that logs temperature and humidity to the AC Infinity app over Bluetooth. There is no screen — everything lives in the app — which is exactly what you want when the reading point is somewhere awkward and you are not going to stand there looking at it.
A reading point where a display won't fit
The A1 exists for the spots a normal hygrometer cannot go. The body magnets or sits on a shelf outside the tent and the probe runs 3.66 m to wherever you actually want the number from — under the canopy, behind the pots, inside a duct run, at the far end of a subfloor. The steel thermal-alloy probe head reacts quickly, so what you get is the condition at that spot rather than a smoothed average of the room.
It is also the cheapest way to add a second or third reading point to a space you already run. One number from one corner of a tent tells you less than you think; two, at opposite ends, tell you whether your air movement is doing its job.
Everything is in the app
Pair it over Bluetooth and you get live readings, daily highs and lows, historical charts, CSV export and alarm thresholds that push a notification when a limit is crossed. Because there is no screen, the app is not an optional extra here — it is how you read the device. That is worth knowing before you buy: if you want a number you can glance at on the tent wall, the Cloudcom B1 is the same idea with a backlit LCD on the front.

FAQ
A1 or B1?
Both take the same 3.66 m probe and log to the same app over Bluetooth. The B1 adds a backlit LCD on the front and reports VPD; the A1 is smaller, cheaper and app-only. Buy the A1 when the unit is going somewhere you will not be looking at it, and the B1 when you want a glanceable number on the tent wall.
Does it show VPD?
AC Infinity list temperature and humidity for the A1, not VPD — the B1 and B2 are the ones to pick if you are working to a VPD target.
Can it control a fan?
No — the Cloudcom range monitors and logs, nothing more. It will push you an alert when a threshold is crossed, but something has to act on it. If you want the reading to move equipment, you want a UIS controller instead, and a Cloudcom is still useful alongside one as a second reading point.
Can I run several of them in one space?
Yes. The app handles multiple units and names them separately, which is the usual reason people buy the A1 — it is small and cheap enough to put three around a room and find out where the problem corner is.
How long does the battery last?
AC Infinity rate the average draw at 90 µA from a CR2477 cell, so in normal use it runs for many months between changes. The cell is a standard coin battery available anywhere.
