The AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro+ is the eight-port version of the 69 Pro: the same programming, the same app and the same dynamic levels, with twice as many devices able to run their own independent rules. It is the straightforward choice for a room that has outgrown four programs but does not need two separate climate zones.
Eight independent programs
Every port is programmed on its own: climate triggers on temperature, humidity or VPD, dynamic levels across ten steps, minimum and maximum bounds, buffer settings, plus timer, cycle and schedule modes. Where the 69 Pro makes you start sharing programs between devices that would rather not share, the Pro+ simply has the ports.
The larger 11.6 cm display is the other practical difference day to day — eight devices on the smaller screen would be a scroll. The backlight can be switched off with programs still running in the background.
Where it sits against the AI+
The Controller AI+ has the same eight ports, so ports are not the deciding factor between them. What the AI+ adds is a second independent zone, two sensor ports for CO₂, soil, hydro or water sensors, and output levels the controller works out from how your room has responded rather than levels you set. The Pro+ is the better value if you have one space, know your settings, and want eight of them.

FAQ
Do I need eight ports?
Count the devices that need different rules, not the devices. Matched clip fans, paired intake fans or a bank of light bars all share one program happily and can sit behind a single splitter hub on one port. Eight ports earns its money when eight things genuinely behave differently — a heater and an extraction fan on opposing triggers, lights on one schedule, a humidifier on a VPD target, a dehumidifier on another.
What does it do that the 69 Pro doesn't?
Four more independently programmed ports, a larger display, and buffer settings. Everything else — the probe, the app, the dynamic levels, timers, cycles and schedules — is the same.
Pro+ or Controller AI+?
Same port count, so the question is what else you want. The AI+ adds a second independent zone, two expandable sensor ports and self-adjusting output levels, and it has its own power adapter. The Pro+ is the better buy for one space where you already know the settings you want.
Can it run without a fan plugged in?
No — it takes power through a connected AC Infinity device. There is no separate mains adapter for this model.
Does it lose its programming if the WiFi drops?
No. The programs live on the controller and keep running. You lose remote access, push alerts and chart logging until it reconnects, not the automation itself.
